Parenting Mental Health & Evolution of Motherhood
Parenting Mental Health. While I treat conditions common during pregnancy and the first year (Perinatal Mental Health), my practice is designed to support the emotional journey of parenthood well into the teenage years. I help parents manage anxiety, navigate shifting partner dynamics, and resolve identity conflicts that arise as their children grow.
My specialization covers a range of common, serious, and treatable conditions, including:
Perinatal Depression (during and after pregnancy)
Perinatal Anxiety and Panic Disorder
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) in the perinatal period
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) related to birth or pregnancy
More severe conditions like Postpartum Psychosis
Parenting a child with OCD, Anxiety, or ADHD.
It's about supporting the entire family unit through this significant life transition, recognizing that these are the most common complications of pregnancy and childbirth.

I help you navigate the profound internal and external shifts that occur when you become a parent, and continue long after the baby phase ends. This isn't just about managing symptoms; it's about helping you rebuild a life you love.
Common struggles we can address:
The Identity Shift: The complex journey of moving from individual to "Mom" and back to individual again. We work together to help you integrate your new role without losing yourself.
Time & Values Clarity: Moving from simply reacting to life to feeling grounded. We'll get clear on your core values and how you genuinely want to spend your time, helping you create a life that feels authentic and manageable.
The Emotional Load: Addressing the heavy internal experiences of shame, guilt, and the constant feeling of "not enough." I provide tools for self-compassion to help you quiet your inner critic.
Juggling Responsibilities: Developing
